Voluntary Benefits
Accident, Critical Illness, and Pet Insurance coverage are available to you, your spouse, and your dependent children. However, employees must have coverage in order for their spouse and children to obtain coverage.
Voluntary Benefits are just that, voluntary. The costs for voluntary benefits are 100% paid by the employee. You can get a custom quote from the respective providers.
Voluntary Accident Insurance
Acme provides eligible employees with Long-Term Disability through insurancecompany.
If you were to become disabled from a qualifying injury or illness, Long Term Disability income benefits provide a source of income.

Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance
Critical Illness Insurance can help protect your finances from the expense of experiencing a serious health problem, such as a stroke, heart attack, or cancer. The benefit is elected by selecting a lump-sum benefit that would be paid directly to you at the first diagnosis of a covered condition. How you choose to use the benefit amount is up to you.
If you receive a full benefit payout for a covered illness, your coverage can be continued for the remaining covered conditions. The diagnosis of a new covered illness must occur at least 90 days after the most recent diagnosis. Each condition is payable once per lifetime.
Voluntary Pet Insurance
Every pet owner knows that four-legged family members are valued and loved. Pet insurance helps you manage the cost of your pet’s care.
The coverage includes:
- Visits to licensed veterinarians for routine care
- Vaccinations
- A number of medical conditions
